Hi Soul, One way that I deal with the issue of not believing my client's stories and how I can be of help is in "remembering" when I use to believe stories like they do. I am able to empathize with them and come from a place that is then "helpful." I am gradually able to help them learn to question their basic assumptions and find more and more freedom. I am able to see that my clients are following the "progressive path" rather than the "direct path."
